Please join us in the gallery for a live Cinesthetic performance of Ravel's Ma mère l'oye. An admirer of classical music, illustrator and animator Grégoire Pont has always been passionate about encouraging children and adults into a magical world through his animation. 'Painting" live he creates a unique, non-repeatable experience where music and motion interplay in a synaesthetic dance. Grégoire will be accompanied by pianist Dawn Hardwick.

Grégoire's work has been showcased around the world and is particularly well known in France, where Presto! a classical music programme, created in collaboration with celebrated conductor François Xavier-Roth, was seen by over three million people weekly. He has been commissioned by the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art to animate Disco Toccata, by Guillaume Connesson. Images from his new project Agoraphobic will feature in the exhibition with the piece being released in the autumn. Grégoire is currently working towards performances in Paris, Strasbourg and Tokyo.
