‘The B’Rock players, lovers of speed, carry its lightness with charm and a glint of steel: exhilarating performances all round’

The Guardian

B’Rock orchestra is one of today’s most successful and forward-thinking period orchestras, collaborating with visionary artists across theatre, dance and visual arts to create exciting musical experiences for audiences, whether they are already Baroque music fans or not.

The group is based in Ghent, Belgium, but travels the world with five centuries worth of music, performing on original instruments. Exploring the music of the past they live firmly in the present, addressing issues of relevance today and looking to the future to build new generations of lovers of historic music.

The group is Creative Associate at Desingel and has long-held partnerships with Operaballet Vlaanderen, Kask Conservatorium, Muziektheater Transparant and Opéra de Rouen, and performs at prestigious venues around Europe.

Maestro Arts is producing a B’Rock tour of Asia in March and April 2025. Programmes include an early Handel oratorio conducted by René Jacobs and Anna Meredith’s interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, interspersed with electronic music and accompanied by special lighting.
