Roth and Kinmonth's Tristan und Isolde opens at Oper Köln
Following the success of their collaboration on Tannhäuser in 2017, General Music Director of the City of Cologne, François-Xavier Roth, and Anglo-Irish director and polymath, Patrick Kinmonth (who previously also worked on the Oper Köln production of Der Ring des Nibelungen), re-join forces and return to Wagner to open the Staatenhaus season with Tristan und Isolde.

The cast includes Ingela Brimberg and Peter Seiffert/Heiko Börner in the title roles, with Samuel Youn as Kurwenal, Claudia Mahnke as Brangäne and Karl Heinz Lehner as King Mark.
