Ralf Pleger and Alexander Polzin's new production of 'Tristan und Isolde' at La Monnaie / De Munt

Ralf Pleger and Alexander Polzin's new production of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde opened at La Monnaie de Munt, Brussels on 2 May 2019. Pleger and Polzin worked together on the artistic concept to create a highly visual and inventive production, which Giovanni Chiaramonto described as 'a model example of staging Wagner for the new millennium'.
