Pelly's Love for Three Oranges opens in Essen
German première of Prokofiev's Love of three oranges in Essen Theatre on Saturday 21 November, in Pelly's highly-inventive production, originally created for the Dutch National Opera. Praised for its cleverness and sense of rhythm, Pelly proves once again he is a master at creating a rare feast for eye and ear, surfing between the waves of magic, dream, poetry and humour.
