Maestro Arts at BBC Proms 2024

This year's BBC Proms feature 91 events between 19 July and 14 September, including several MA artists:

• Steven Osborne visits Royal Albert Hall twice: he joins BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Messiaen’s Turangalîla Symphony conducted by Nicholas Collon (30 July, recorded for later television broadcast) and Sinfonia of London in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with John Wilson (4 August).
• The vision string quartet makes its BBC Proms debut at The Riverfront, Newport, playing Bloch, Dvořák and new compositions for string quartet and guitar with Mahan Mirarab (4 August).
• Ilan Volkov conducts BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in arrangements of Duke Ellington, as well as works by Mary Lou Williams and Anthony Braxton (15 August).
• Allan Clayton sings in Britten’s War Requiem with London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antonio Pappano (17 August).
• James Bonas continues his collaboration with Aurora Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (21 August).
• Paul Lewis performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto no.27 in B flat major with City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Kazuki Yamada (22 August).
