Laurent Pelly's L'étoile wins Diapason d'Or de L'année

Last night in Paris, Laurent Pelly's production of Chabrier's L'étoile, released recently on DVD, received the Diapason d'Or de l'année 2019 in the opera category. The DVD, filmed live at Dutch National Opera in 2014, featuring Stephanie D'Oustrac and Christophe Mortagne, with dialogue adaptations by Agathe Mélinand, was filmed by Francois Roussillon et associés and released on the Naxos label. Laurent Pelly is currently in Amsterdam, for his new production of Rossini's La Cenerentola, which opens next week.
