La Monnaie announces 21/22 season

La Monnaie De Munt has announced its 2021/22 season, which will open on 1 September with Pavel Kolesnikov performing Bach's Goldberg Variations alongside dancer Anne Teresa de Keersmaekers. He talks about the project, which had its first performance in August 2020, here.

Christophe Coppens directs Norma, as well as designing sets and costumes, in a new production which runs from 12 to 21 December 2021.

Next year, Kazushi Ono returns to La Monnaie, where he was Music Director from 2002 to 2008, to celebrate the orchestra's 250th anniversary with a programme of Massenet, Strauss and Prokofiev, on 9 October 2022.
