Irina Brook directs a New Production of Don Pasquale at the Wiener Staatsoper

Irina Brook's new production of Donizetti's Don Pasquale marks the opera's return to the stage of the Vienna State Opera after an absence of thirty years.

Conductor Jesús López-Cobos leads an excitingly youthful cast including soprano Natalia Nafornita and tenor Juan Diego Flórez through Donizetti's masterful comedic score. An interview with the two star singers can be found here.  

The production runs from 26 April - 11 May 2015 and will be reprised 15 April - 29 June 2016.
