Hartmut Haenchen Conducts Fidelio at Teatro Real, Madrid

Hartmut Haenchen will conduct eight performances of Beethoven's only opera, Fidelio at Teatro Real Madrid. The production by Pier'Alli runs until 11 June. The stellar cast of singers include audience favourites and some new names alike. Adrianne Pieczonka and Michael König as Leonore and Florestan; Franz-Josef Selig, Rocco; Anett Fritsch, Marzelline and Ed Lyon as Marzelline and Jaquino; Alan Held as Don Pizarro and Goran Jurić is Don Fernando.
