Haenchen conducts legendary Elektra and Tristan at Opéra de Lyon

Under the title of Festival Mémoirs, Hartmut Haenchen will conduct two legendary productions of Elektra and Tristan und Isolde at Opéra de Lyon. Over many years they have been so celebrated, many critics and audience members see them as the absolute benchmark for productions of these masterpieces. Elektra is in the production by Ruth Berghaus and Tristan und Isolde, the venerated Bayreuth production of Heiner Müller. The productions will run from 17 March until 6 April.
