George Jackson to stand in at Orchestre de Paris
Last week George Jackson received an early morning call from the London Symphony Orchestra asking if he could stand in for a new music rehearsal due to travel delays caused by snow. He duly jumped in a taxi and the rehearsal went well.
This Sunday morning, April Fool's Day, George received another call, would he stand in for Daniel Harding, who is unwell, at Philharmonie de Paris conducting a concert of three orchestras: Orchestre de Paris, Ensemble Intercontemporain and Les Arts Florissants, with a repertoire to include the Charles Ives Fourth Symphony.
Good luck George!
