François-Xavier Roth and Les Siècles shortlisted for three Gramophone Awards

François-Xavier Roth and Les Siècles have been shortlisted in three categories for a 2018 Gramophone Classical Music Award.

Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe, nominated in the Orchestral category, is the first release of a planned complete Ravel cycle for Harmonia Mundi.

Nominated in the Recital category, Mirages, a vocal recital with French coloratura soprano Sabine Devieilhe for Erato, is already recipient of a Diapason d’Or and was Victoires de la Musique Classique Recording of the Year.

Les Siècles has also received a nomination for Orchestra of the Year, a new special award category awarded by public vote.

Recordings which make the top 3 of each category will be announced in the September issue of Gramophone (published digitally on 10 August) and winners in each category on the Gramophone website on 31 August. The winners of the special Awards (including Orchestra of the Year) will be announced at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards ceremony on 13 September, which will be streamed live via medici.tv.
