Dual honours for François-Xavier Roth

A double celebration in Paris this weekend. After a concert with Les Siècles at the Philharmonie de Paris, featuring a typically ecletic programme of Gamelan music, Boulez and Debussy, François-Xavier Roth was presented with his Légion d'honneur by French Culture Minister, Françoise Nyssen.

He was also named first-ever Associate Artist (Artiste Associé) of the Philharmonie de Paris, a newly created position, by Director-General, Laurent Bayle.
