Allan Clayton wins the RPS Award solo singer award
At a glittering awards ceremony at The Brewery London last night, Allan received the Royal Philharmonic award for solo singer, fighting off the healthy competition of David Butt Phillip and Brindley Sherratt. Bravo to all.
Each year, through its annual RPS Music Awards, the Royal Philharmonic Society celebrates outstanding achievement in live music. Nominations are made the length and breadth of the country and in recent years have reflected not just the passion and enthusiasm for the many outstanding musical performances in our concert halls, opera houses and festivals, but a powerful recognition for organisations who are making a profound difference to people’s lives through music.
