Aleksandar Markovic makes US debut with Seattle Opera

Conductor Aleksandar Markovic will make his debut in the United States this weekend when he conducts Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin for Seattle Opera. The occasion will also mark his debut with the company.

Directed by Stephanie Havey (original production director: Tomer Zyulun) for Seattle Opera, this will be the first time the opera has been staged at McCaw Hall. Markovic conducts a stellar line-up of international soloists for his house debut. The production premieres on Saturday 11 January and runs until 25 January.
