Pavel Kolesnikov wins Diapason d'Or de l'Année 2016

Pavel Kolesnikov has been awarded the Diapason d'Or de l'anée for his recording of Chopin Mazurkas on the Hyperion label. Pavel attended the ceremony in person, which was held on 23rd November in the House of Radio France in Paris, and also performed some of the Mazurkas live for the audience audience.

The award highlights the unanimous praise that has been heaped upon this recording since its release in September, with the critics hailing the recording as "some of the most bewitching Chopin you've ever heard".
