James Bonas directs 'West Side Story' with RNCM Young Company

West Side Story, one of modern times' most revolutionary and adored musical theatre piece, was  chosen by RNCM Young Company (formed in 2008 following a production of the same work), in partnership with exciting new theatre company, Future Stages, to celebrate Bernstein 100. 

With a cast mixing professional singers/dancers and young performers especially trained for this opportunity,  and with new choreography by Ewan Jones, James's staging sparkles with high-octane energy.  The whole company delivers  a totally engaging and spectacular performance; soaring and energetic dance battles, beautiful ensembles and songs, translating with enthusiasm its still very resonant social message.
