Festival Debuts for George Jackson

George Jackson makes his debut at the Rainy Days Festival in Luxembourg and the Festival D’Automne in Paris with Ensemble Intercontemporain.

Sunday evening saw their performance at the Rainy Days Festival in Luxembourg. With an intriguing theme of ‘less is more’, the works of Steve Reich explored the power of minimalism. Painter Gerhard Richter and filmmaker Corinna Belz provided the perfect partner to Reich’s music.

George will make his Festival D’Automne à Paris debut on 27 November at the Paris Cité de la Musique, with a programme featuring a trilogy of British composers: James Dillon, Benedict Mason and Rebecca Saunders.
