Wojciech’s Dziedzic’s costumes delicately conveyed the essence of each character…the empty costumes of the third scene were amazing.
Polish born Wojciech Dziedzic enjoys an international career as a costume and fashion designer, working in a variety of art forms including opera, theatre and musicals. Dziedzic studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Central St. Martin’s in London; he was subsequently invited to teach at both institutes. Since 2010 he is also active as the head of the fashion department at the School of Form in Poznań, Poland.
Current and future productions include Eugene Onegin directed by Jim Lucassen at Oper Frankfurt, Bomarzo directed by Pierre Audi at Teatro Real Madrid, Arthur Miller’s The Crucible on Broadway directed by Ivo van Hove (music by Philip Glass), Glass Menagerie directed by Sam Gold at Toneelgroep Amsterdam and also on Broadway, A Sort of Hades directed by Thibaud Delpeut at Theater Utrecht.
